 Sonshine Mountain is located five miles north of Mountainburg, Arkansas nestled in the beautiful Boston Range. This is part of the Ozark Mountains and is one of the most beautiful areas of the United States.
Sonshine Mountain is home of the Tom Cox World Ministry and the Sonshine Mountain Retreat Center.
From the top of Sonshine Mountain you can see 50 miles on a clear day! Near Lake Fort Smith and Devil’s Den State Parks hiking, swimming, boating and fishing are accessible to our facilities. Just a leisure stroll through the mountains is refreshing.
Our retreat center is designed to accommodate 40 people, 14 males and 14 females in opposite dorm areas and 4 extra rooms; 2 with bunk beds and 2 regular beds. One bedroom is handicap accessible. Large, modern kitchen facilities compliment a dining room/auditorium for 70 to 100 people. Our retreat center is the perfect building for church, youth, choir or staff retreats. This is a place where one can come for a spiritual getaway.
